Cancer is a Serious Business, Burzynski the Movie, Watch FREE!

I keep hearing about this movie & haven't had the chance to watch it yet, but remembered I had run into the full length version for free, online.  I then saw that there was originally a "pull" date for the Full Length version & so wanted to post this in the event that anyone is interested.  Just today I found out we lost someone else we knew to cancer.  She was only diagnosed one week ago & I believe she had one treatment of chemo that did not go well.  Sometimes I wonder what would happen to someone's body if we  did several rounds of chemo, if they didn't have cancer.  If we just did it to a "healthy" person.  Well....I know of someone that had that very experience and I believe he got very, very ill & could have died.  Then they found out that there was an error & he actually never had cancer.  So when the treatment has the ability to harm a cancer free person, I wonder if it is the most effective way to treat someone who is very ill?  I know there are a few types of cancers that do respond well to chemo, maybe three types??  This movie has gotten a lot of review, accolades, quotes from the New York Times to Tony Robbins.  Yeah!  Tony Robbins, who eats a lot of raw food & a very much plant based diet (so far as we see him in videos & also in his talks).  I have seen him pop up in a few Raw Foodie videos!

Burzynski, the Movie is the story of a medical doctor and Ph.D biochemist named Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski who won the largest, and possibly the most convoluted and intriguing legal battle against the Food & Drug Administration in American history.
His victorious battles with the United States government were centered around Dr. Burzynski's gene-targeted cancer medicines he discovered in the 1970's called Antineoplastons, which have currently completed Phase II FDA-supervised clinical trials in 2009 and could begin the final phase of FDA testing in 2011–barring the ability to raise the required $300 million to fund the final phase of FDA clinical trials.

And, random photos.  Well, maybe these photos are kind of cancer therapy too?   And since we are bombarded with lots of bad s*it everyday, maybe this stuff will kill at least of those few bad cells......Here's to hoping.  If not, then we have to start sticking carrots up our butt.  No, actually, COFFEE up our butt & CARROTS in our mouths.  Someone we knew told my hubby he better start sticking carrots up his butt when he had pulled a muscle and was limping around terribly, so the term kind of stuck (she was interested in Gerson too, hence the comment).
Carrot, Turnip, & Beet Chips (Raw) made with my super cool retro Salad Shooter.  I just bought it, so the actual Shooter is not retro, but seriously, the Salad Shooter from way back, well, IS.

Kale, more Kale, More Kale.  Lettuce & Collards.  All business here!

This is my folk's garden.  Seriously a smoothie & Green Juice central.  I am always on them to use more of it and try to tell my dad that even if the bread from the restaurant that caters to his workplace is FREE, it COSTS A LOT if it isn't whole wheat & it winds up on your belly.  Dad, take that bread over to the young'ns right now!

Can you say "kale chips"??

Squash from my folks's incredible garden.  I used some of these for the amazing "Spicy Butternut Squash" dish (Paitha) from Anupy Singla's "The Indian Slow Cooker Book".  She is coming out with an ALL VEGAN & ALL INDIAN book next!

Salad shooter salad!!  With Watercress for the greens & a sesame oil & coconut amino dressing.  Plus, hemp seeds.  Hurrah for Hemp!

What are your favorite "health" movies?  Are there films that have inspired you to eat better?  Or that have changed your perception of heart disease, cancer, or diabetes?
