Other Posts From this Book:
Part of the filling.

Soy & Gluten Free alternative to Soy Sauce/Tamari/Nama Shoyu

Buckwheat crust getting made in the food processor.

Sliced Portabellas.
Coconut Aminos (alternative to Nama Shoyu or Tamari-this is soy and gluten free)
Spinach and Basil for filling.

Mixing filling up.  Has spinach, basil, cashews, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, and more.

Overall this was a good pie.  However, I don't know if I would make it again, just because I tend to keep it very simple.  It didn't slice super great, which is fine, but if you were looking to make it "Martha Stewart" for guests....ya might have to work on cutting clean slices.  I love the book though and make a lot of the recipes from this book on a regular basis.  But a nice combination of the raw mushrooms and spinach and it's pretty!

  2. is it possible *really* to give up vegetable samosas...? I believe these will remain in my 15% non-raw category as I have a minor addiction to them. My major addiction is green olive and sun-dried tomato tapenade... (should be named CRACK as you CANNOT stop once you have started). :D Love your blog. I will try to fake the above recipe based on pics as I don't have the book- looks yummy.
